Colorado was beautiful. The Jeep did very well on the trails we drove over (Corkscrew gulch, California gulch/Hurricane Pass, Black Bear Pass, Imogene Pass). We had one "major" incident climbing up Imogene Pass from Telluride. The vent tube from the catalytic converter had a cap pressed on it (see item G). That cap came off and hot exhaust gasses melted the fuel pump power wire insulation causing a dead short. After identifying the problem, and with the help of some fellow jeepers passing by, I bypassed the burnt wire and drove on over the pass to Ouray. The next day I fixed the problem in a more permanent way.
