The Kids thrive as the Jeep Dies & Anniversaries

Just a quick post to update you on the Jeep’s slow death. The Jeep continues to do without while the perpetrators thrive.

Shannon and Carolyn (AKA Perpetrators 1 & 1A) added “Sage” to their family back in April. Pretty cute little girl. She is getting big now. Of course, Sage is just another addition to long list of people and animals that “she who must be obeyed”(SWMBO) needs to shop for. New clothes, new toys, fancy snacks, they all “need” those things. Does the Jeep get any new toys? NO!! Another book that Shannon edits won an Eisner award at San Diego Comic con. They won Best Publication for Kids (ages 9-12) for “Over the Garden Wall”. Anniversary: Shannon and Carolyn celebrated their 1st anniversary recently. Congratulations !

Daniel & Jenna (AKA Perpetrators 2 & 2A) released there first full album under the new name “The Watters” on July 2, 2016 (they had 4 albums under Oak Creek Band). This Album is called “Great Unknown”. It is excellent! 10 original songs, all written by Daniel and Jenna and performed by their 8 piece band, which includes a 3 piece horn section. CHING, CHING. That is the sound of more of the Jeep’s funds going elsewhere. The album has been well received with numerous reviews. HERE is one example. The Album can be purchased on iTunes, CD Baby, and numerous other outlets. To see a video of them performing live, click HERE. If you want to keep up with the band and where they will be performing go to their website(www.wearethewatters.com). So your probably thinking what more could these two talented musicians do to the poor Jeep? Well I’ll tell you. Apparently, you need to tour after releasing a new album. For that you need a dependable touring vehicle. Enter the Great Unknown RV, exit the last of the Jeep’s pennies! “Oh the humanity!”

Here is the title song from the new album.

Enjoy!

Anniversary: Daniel & Jenna just celebrated their 5th Anniversary! Congratulations!

Carol (AKA Perpetrator #3) continues to keep the family rolling. Despite her belief that almost anything is more important than the Jeep, she continues to be the love of my life. I am blessed to have her as a wife and mother of my children. There is not a day or night that I don’t think about her.

Anniversary: We recently celebrated our 35th anniversary.
